Re: SHOW YOUR 2011-2012 DEER SEASON PICS HERE
Thanks for the help fin.One of my New Years Resolutions is to start taking and posting pics.I ordered a Cannon EOS Rebel T3 with an 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm lens so Hunter can take wildlife pics being he doesn't like to hunt.I haven't removed the jaw bone yet but he looks to be 5 years old.Hannah was one happy Fat Midget when we found it the next morning.I'm going to stop talking now so she can post the story this evening.

Hay Yall
HERE IS MY STORY!!!
Dad checked me out of school early I didn't know what was going on. He said we were going to the hunting camp. On friday night we went to the strip field. I saw an eight point, four point, seven point, and several does and babies. I ended up shooting a doe.(FYI I didn't shoot a baby) Next day we planed to go to one of the bigger fields but the shoot would be too far. So we went back to the stip were, the shot would only be a couple hundred yards. We saw lots of racked bucks. None of them were shooters at least in my dad's eyes. What a great hunt. Eight points were fighting, deer chasing eachother, deer were getting up on hind legs. Then my 6 point came out. I shot him when he was about 75yds. away. He ran off but dad didn't want to go looking for him that evening because i lost my big 8 point last year due to jumping him. When we went out of the shooting house 2 8 points were staring into the woods. The next morning there he was 30yds in the woods. We were all excited. We went back to the camp and cleaned him. I helped my uncle skin him because my dad is worth nothing when he has a cast on. Unfortunatly we had to rush home because of my Nutcracker practice. :yay: :yippee:
Only a month left of hunting season can't wait to start fishing with yall again!

Congrats on your fine kill Hannah. You got to experience some things that other people have never had the chance to. I know your dad is very proud of you, and he has every right to be. John, whenever you get the camera give me a hollar. I have the same lenses you ordered and a similar camera and would love to show you and Hunter how to use it.
