If you are in Fairhope and looking for something a bit different, check out the Dragonfly Food Bar. They have fusion style tacos and noodle bowls. Located right next to the pub. (Disclaimer, my sis in law and her husband own the Dragonfly ;<) Try the oyster french toast appetizer!

That sounds awesome. What is the atmosphere like there?

Casual trendy place with indoor or outdoor seating. I probably wouldn't go in with my fishing shirt on
but its real laid back.

McSherry's Irish Pub in Fairhope
Best Ruben sandwhich I have ever had
I also echo what Viking Guy said about the places on the Causeway (which is my neck of the woods)... It's been a long time and I know it still technically exists.... but I loved eating at Hazels on Hwy 59 and in Orange beach in the early 90's.

+1! With me being a chef, this is the kind of place I love! I also have to add Hog Wild BBQ across from Waterville to my list. His brisket is amazing!
