Re: BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
I want to add my congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide on one of the most well played games I've ever seen by any team anywhere. It was dominant, but clean by everything I could see, and reminded me of the quality of the teams coached by the Bear himself.
I heard an interview on ESPN with the OSU coach where he was talking about the Big 12. With all due respect to OSU and their great year, Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas went 36-4 this year, and all four losses were to each other. I think that says something for our part of the world as compared to the Big 12.
Anybody seriously think OSU would have held up in the SEC West against our schedule? Or Oregon for that matter? Boise State?

Re: BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Rich1, I would love to see a rematch of Boise State and Georgia at the end of the season. I think the Bulldogs would have handled them. Also, Auburn and LSU have already given the Ducks plenty to fret over. Don't think they can hang with the SEC. The Cowboys will get theirs in a season or two.

Of course they could prepare better because their players now have to go to class and that would be unnecessary in the SEC. oke: oke: oke:
But strength of schedule in the SEC is going way down next year when Missiouri and A&M arrive; they increase the cupcake factor in the SEC, but at least Auburn will have someone they can beat. oke1: oke1: oke1:
However SEC fans do get to learn Aggie jokes, which are an endless source of amusement. For example, how can you tell the Aggie's coffee mug from the others? Handle is on the inside.

Re: BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
My wife and I watched the dull game with utter disgust really.
You would almost think the coach and or quaterback of LSU were paid to throw the game.
The LSU players had little enthusiasm from the start--even the announcers noticed it. Almost as if they "knew" something...
Perhaps it was all legitimate, but I can tell you that wasn't the same team we saw all year.
Great job and kudos to Alabama!
Perhaps Auburn will mature a bit more for next year. :headbang:

Re: BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
On a side note: The jealousy has started! al.com featured a story on former Ohio State coach John Cooper's interview on talk radio in Cleveland, Ohio. He thinks the NCAA should investigate SEC schools such as Alabama, Auburn, LSU etc. etc. This comes from a fellow whose record against the SEC was a dismal 2-14. He also dissed the QB's from the SEC, non worthy of Big 10 play. Think there may be an onset of dementia?

Well, I looked and it seems there is an app called AL Coastal Observing System but it seems to be locked and says to contact the owner. I don’t understand.
