I do.
I built on the first prototype 1027 2 piece 4 or 5 years back and still have it.
Use it under the pass for big reds too.
Have built it up for several folks too and they like them.
I also use it to test out funky guide layouts.
Currently has a 30/8 Castaway microwave stripper and M framed 8 minima 4 Tich tamer then minma 4 tich to the tip in 7mm fly.
Tip is SIC in TiCH frame pac bay 10 mm
Light and casts well.

I have came to the conclusion that i am going to build two rods one is going to be the rainshadow rclb80xl the other is going to be the rainshadow swb80l or the swb80ml. The rclb 80xl will have kw guides and the swb will have a the first two guides and 60 40 wire guides then the rest in k guides or mn guides. Now i just need to do a little more homework to see it i need to go with Medium light or the light rod in the swb. everyone seems to think the rclb extra light will be plenty of rod.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
