surf strand is a brand name? and where can i order some?
Yep, Surfstrand is a brand and is available at J & M.
Stik, I would call J & M toll free first and find out about ordering Surfstrand from them at (800) 483-7069.
Surfstrand is actually a product name. AFW (American Fishing Wire) is the brand and happens to be the best IMO and only brand I use. Get with John he'll hook you up.

The knots will slip and the plastic coating is easily cut by toothy fish.(RETIRED) mostly.
