Looks like a dang Piney Woods Rooter - young sow. Been put up many tree by those *^$*&$%@# big ones back in the big creek swamps in central Louisiana
[/quote] Not many trees in the parking lot.

No, but plenty of truck beds to jump in. Old and stove up as I am, I sometimes amaze myself at just how dang quick I can move when I need to --- cotton mouth under your foot. Mean dog chasing you. half off at the beer store....oke1:
Screw it. Let's ride.

I've seen some ugly, fat sows at the beach... But damn'it boy!

At four-thirty this afternoon I killed four feral hogs up in Clarke County---a sow and three fifteen pounders. Pork on the grill! Never thought there'd be one in the parking lot at the pier.

If they get out of hand I'd be more than happy to come trap some for you. :eat:

They are out of hand. Three litters a year with six to eight at a whack. Kill them. Kill them all. They are like roaches. If you see one you probably have hundreds.

Re: Wild Hog at Pier
Is it ok to use braid fishing for hog in the parking lot?
Not that it would matter....Peaches would probably throw on my live bait and snake him from me anyway.

Glad I carry a 45 in my car. That hog better watch out. If it ends up charging the wrong person, its gonna end up on someone's dinner plate. :eat:

Who me?nah I'd let you work him up and go for the kill shot with a 3 ounce pyramid
Give a googan a king, and he can eat for a day. But teach a googan how to kingfish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years

Re: Wild Hog at Pier
That is good because I would only loose him anyway.
For me calling first shot is when someone catches a fish and says "who wants it?"

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
