Tato,
I used to get shrimp from Billy's, but the last couple times the shrimp was old and soft.
i usually get IQF shrimp from Freddie Stewart. He's the only one I know that doesn't dip his shrimp in any preservatives to try and keep them looking fresh. All the others dip them right on the boat. Plus easier to take only a few at a time out of the freezer without thawing them all.

If an individual store was built and opened as a Rouse's, then it may not be to bad. However they have been buying different chains and rebranding those stores as theirs and those stores are so so at best. The chain was originally from Thibodaux and still headquartered there, not N.O.
Besides, Texas is on the gulf and has H.E.B. stores that are probably the best anywhere.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
