It's hard to beat live bait- shrimp or a finger mullet. For the surf I like a pomp jig or a looney jig. White in color.

For a lure, definitely a silver casting spoon or a bubble with a trailing silver spoon. Can reach a long ways and cover a ton of water.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
