After reading the article, no wonder the "googans" meet us with such hostility when we try and correct them. They've been fishing the reel the right way all along.

Bait caster my left hand. Perfectly normal. spinning rod in my right hand, perfectly normal. anything else just feels weird.

I cast right handed and hold my bait casters in my left hand and reel right. I hold my spinning reels in my right hand and reel left.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
