I should have mentioned I mostly am using 10# mono when throwing those lures for spanish
and 12# mono the rest of the time.
Peaches gonna put the 'Gainer drag' down on them suckas with that braid and he knows to have some beefier wire and swivel.(RETIRED) mostly.

Ok. Thanks for the info DHR, very helpful. I bought some 30lb Surfstrand today, but I think I will just do the double single strand setup.
