    Thanks for the advice. I carry lineman's pliers and long stats in addition to needle nose fishing pliers. For freshwater cats, one flick of the wrist with the lineman's pliers is all it usually takes once you have it down. I hope that saltwater cats work the same way.

    I want some shrimp to eat early on, so I figured I would also get some raw to use as bait at S&S or Lartigue's.

    Don't overlook Fresh Market Seafood in Foley at County Road 10 and 59. They have a decent selection of fresh fish and shrimp.

    I've got the 3" natural on the way to my office on Tuesday. Do you think that will work? I've already got the jig heads.
    I think the natural will work fine. I heard the penny color is good too. I've always used the pearl white. Good luck!
