he said it was appraised at 10,000 and the asking price....no way I could see it ever had that much traffic, especially when the local out of towners weren't on the Panama city pier ....Ms Pat was almost the only one from Navarre ....and I agree jigslinger Chad reap a lot from Obie(the old forum) ...I had wondered since it went so fast that maybe it was set up before hand???? I sure wish Obie could have reap some $ for all his time and effort

Ironman, If you took 10 gaffs home I'm guessing they are "for sale"?!?! Are they so heavy that shipping would be out of the question?
Seems like you are in GS about a month after me.

Yeah its not easy to keep traffic up, we work hard at it. That's why we do facebook, blogs, ect. Its marketing, and the ads help some. This forum, is brought to you by J&M Tackle. Seriously, I just want to say thanks to John for his support on here, and keeping it all going and to the admins who keep it all running and happy. One thing that makes this forum different is that its not about the money. Its about fishing, and the good memories and friends you make doing it. Without all the good people of here, it wouldn't work.

No plans made as of right now....I did check into shipping and with the size of the box needed to ship it is between 15 and 18 dollars ....the weight isn't the real problem, just size of the box....I could send multiple in one box for pennies more then just the first one....Fin has offered to be a pick up point if needed, or could send direct....was hoping several might want them and could send together to minimize the shipping to 5.00 a piece depending on how many interested or how many sent....I should have left them behind, but Fin was almost nonexistent when I was there, listed on a few other east coast pier forum too....thought of ebay .....you know you only really need a few gaff's on a pier, put into the hands of the rats.... all is good to go then....but with the few kings hooked and caught really didn't need a gaff but a few times

Couple of things, first whoever didn't pick up their gaff from Bill when he was there missed out. Good gaffs, good price, good guy. Also a big "Thank You!" to John for sponsering this site, lots of great stuff here.

Hopefully the cobia will show up and give all the new gaffs a workout come April! In the mean time mine's not eating anything......
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
