Don't think it's possible to completely clear this mess up but here goes:
For the last 15 years the Little Lagoon outlet has been known to me as WEST BEACH PASS.
The pass near Alabama Point (big high curvy bridge) is called PERDIDO PASS on most maps.Beware the power of fools in large numbers

[font=comic sans ms][size=12pt]When I was a kid we called the West Beach Pass/Lagoon Pass the Cut-Off and there was no road to it, jeep, walk, or boat.
It was not always connected to the Gulf.
Alabama Point/Perdido Pass had no bridge until early sixties.
