what I do is just wrap it around an empty toilet paper tube and stick the hooks in it, then just stick it in a bag
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

I like the foam pipe insulation for transport. I cut a slot to match the bigh gather guide on a spinning rod, though I mostly use a conventional reel. Also, it's a good idea to leave the insulation in the car or you will have to deal with it blowing around out on the pier if there's much wind.
