Hard to beat the Hollis Ledlow method using nylon net twine,varnish and electrical tape. It may look crude,but it sure does work.

I have one of clemons' books, Custom Rod Thread Art, it is the greatest rod building book i've ever read, paid $40 for it, but it was worth every peny!
I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.

It might be cheaper to buy fish than gather all the tackle, but they taste better when I caught them. My rods may not be works of art, but catching with one is special.
