Were fishing in the keys years ago and my buddy caught a mangrove pushing 18 in. Biggest that I've seen personally. I fish for them quite a bit here in AL and have never had anything close. Like chillinfish, I have a hard time weeding through the 11 inchers..

Back when I had a big boat, we caught them like Pierboy just posted on a regular basis. My best was 8#.

Years ago, fishing with Mike Thierry on the Lady Ann, we caught a mangrove that weighed 13 lbs, Mike got all excited and we iced it in a fish bag, weighed 12 lbs 4 oz at DI Marina when we got back in. We were AJ fishing at the time.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
