Well, I did receive the Docs Goofy jigs before making the trip to the pier Saturday. Not really the best day to test and evaluate a new fishing lure. Hardly any wind, no current, no waves, no tidal movement, no pompano feeding. I did throw one long enough to find out that it will cause line twist. Every time you hop it off the bottom it spins, watched it in the shallows early while the water was clear. We did catch 11 spaniards south of the T on a variety of lures, Gotchas, Looney jigs, Bubble rigs, Spoons, Flukes. Hope to try again in a couple weeks.
