That sure takes care of the rumors about losing the cleaning tables. Better days ahead----once there is a covid vaccine.

I thought they were putting new plumbing and electrical lines. Looks like they mounted the conduit to the new rails that was done couple years ago.

Keep pushing our trip back. I tell my wife it’s due to COVID but it’s really due to pier renovations. Let’s hope it’s done first week of August! Hope you all are doing well and staying virus free!

I have searched the NOAA web sites for a copy of the "Biological Opinion" that delayed the pier renovation. No luck! Anyone know where a taxpayer can view this document?

That’s what I’m betting. We’ll be there 1st week of October.

All I ask regarding pier completion is that it reopens in time for rookies like myself to have a chance at a king this year. A special thanks to that notable sage of this medium, Haywire, for his advice on new gear. I do have to ask, however, are "nipple danglers" appropriate bait? Just asking.

Murphy's Law says it will open after we leave Gulf Shores on Aug 15
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
