Now that I think about it, I don't want to tear up my reel. What size mono would y'all recommend for it?

I just had 20 # high visibility mono put on mine reel. That way me and others can see that ugly orange line. My 2 cents

I keep a few older Penn 4/0 6/0 around to use as a slave reel to transfer line to or swap ends of it to extend useful life of the line.
If you have a reel laying around you could use it to keep that 50lb on till you have a need for it.

I've had the centers come out of the Berkley Amps and they was replaced for free. That's why I changed my Spanish set ups to the Abu Garcia rods and have not had a problem with them. Just don't use the Berkley Amps to throw a lot of lures. The Tsunami Airwaves have been great so far, time will tell. The Ugly Stik's are the toughest just don't have that feel and are a little heavy.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
