I may make my own if I can find some stainless rod. I have the twine to to tie a net.

As far as Bass Pro matching the price on the net from Academy, did you have to show them a sakes ad?

No, I just told them it was cheaper in academy, they found the price on their computer and match it.

About 12 years ago it was $45 for the net, the ring and the rope, RTG :fishing:(RETIRED) mostly.

I get mine at a local scrap yard....and bend it myself....not perfect but good enough for me....I am cheap ,and enjoy making things myself too....more so then cheap I guessBill..............

While you are making the perfect net, I have heard that twisted rope is more prone to wrapping and tangling with the fishing line than braided rope.
