The rest looks like no one looked before casting, learned that at an early age. That cat never got close to us kids again.

I took my son and stepson fishing at the old Navarre pier and they got caught up in the excitement of a pretty hot bite at dawn. My stepson blamed my son and vice versa. I blame them both do different degrees. My wife wanted to take him to the hospital and I told him that if we go to there that if we left the pier that the fishing trip was over. He wouldn't let me touch the hook since he had witnessed me unhooking fish and he thought he was going to get the same treatment. He also didn't want to let the hook end his day. I told him to man up and do it himself, then handed him a pair of pliers. He pushed it through the thickest cartilage and out the backside. We clipped the barb and pulled the hook. He went back to fishing and the sympathy from everyone who had witnessed him getting hooked turned into respect. One Filipino woman that he had given fish to before showered him with candy, snacks and soda. He wound up catching two five gallon buckets full of hardtails for her later that day. In case anyone is wondering, yes it was a Gotcha that got him.
Here's another attempt to post a picture on here. This should be a picture of a flounder caught in NOVEMBER.
