To all: IF someone, anyone on the pier is fishing in a legal manner it is none of my (or your) business.
And I agree with him, IF you don't know for sure what the law is then tell the pier house or call the law and find out.
Just to state it all in the open: snatching mullet and sheepshead is NOT illegal from the GSPPier, nor is there any rule against it.
So I don't blame 00 for being P.O.ed after some 'FoS do-gooders' have given him a hard time about practicing a legal form of fishing in a safe manner.
Not that I personally subscribe to the act of poking holes in perfectly good fish for the record ;-) lol
Case closed!

If I had to make a guess, 00706 has more days on GSP over the last forty something years than anybody on this forum. He's a Damn good friend and one of the best fisherman to set foot on the pier. Kind'a reminds me of something that happened to me a several years ago. It was Fall night and I was pumping live bait water into a 325 gallon tank at Boggy Point boat launch. A car pulls up, guy gets out watches me then gets back into his car but never leaves. When I turn the pump off I could hear multiple sirens coming down Marina road. Dude hauls butt with his car and blocks me from pulling out as three police cars get there, then two fire trucks. He starts yelling at them that I'm dumping chemicals or something in the water. Some of the officers knew me and were not hesitant to let him know what I was doing real quick. I've been asked hundreds of times "what you doing?'' and I tell them but that's the only time in 30 years I had problems.

If you see a guy catching fish when nobody else can, you are most likely observing 00706.
Well, it could also be Pier#r, but Double Naught is out there way more than most!
He is a good friend to have and a great fisherman.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
