i am making my own but can not find any octopus head molds all the molds i have my dad got from an old friend. but i did buy one of the octopus head jigs at jm there like 9.99 i think
get the gaff!!!

ok well i guess ill have to make my own out of bond i got a 2oz one rodbuilderesm gave me ill probably model the mold after that jig

What pound test line is best to use and how do you rig it, leader, swivel, etc.

60 lb floro leader and i like 50 lb power pro braid on mine with 706.

i use 50 pound power pro then tie a small but strong swivel to it then 50 pound floro carbon mono liter then my jig or hook
kill a king - team catch it

I use 30 pound momoi diamond braid on the rod. I tie it directly to the jig with the use of an offshore loop so that I have two lines connecting the jig to the main line vs just one.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
