I went to the pier this afternoon and there were a lot of tourists/walk-ons/non-fishers especially in the 3:00 to 5:00 window.

People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.

If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

Not like anyone else doesn't post reports of their good days.
Okay JohnG, I'm done here and maybe better clam up on Facebook/GS Pier Rats too.

Chilie when are you going to share some of your cooking photos? Maybe some more of your favorites. Maybe you could print a cookbook.

    Closed beach demarcation lines?

Does anyone know if the bay side beach at Ft. Morgan is closed? The state order on closed beaches defined "beach" as the sandy area abutting the Gulf of Mexico.

I was talking with the lady in the office this morning, and she said there was no distinction being made between walkers and fishermen. She said that if you came to go fishing and the pier was full, all you had to do was sit down and wait for some of the walkers to leave and you could go ahead.
