I have a Abu Garcia Super 7 model SSS701M (7' med, 1/8-3/4 oz, 4-12# line) that works decent and I have a Shimano Stimula model SI-70PMB (7' med, 1/8-1/2 oz, 8-17#line) that I like a little better. Gdaddy and I came fishing last Saturday and he bought a Shimano Sojourn model SJS70MA (7' med, 1/4-3/4 oz, 6-14# line) and I tried it and like it more than what I have. Just thought I would get more opinions before I bought one. (He bought the combo at J&M with the Solstace 4000 reel)

Sounds to me like you are on the right track with choice and didnt get swayed by all the CUSTOM CUSTOM GOT TO HAVE A CUSTOM talk. I love the sojourns too. Wise choice

I just got the name off the Daiwa I have. It is called an AIRD. I have a two piece but they come in a one piece and have a couple different weight classes. I got it off the rack at J&M for around $45 I believe. May have been a little more but not by much if it is. Have been using it for a while how and am very pleased with it. A lot of those shimanos are nice but are out of my price range. So it just comes down to what you are able to get for your money.

6'6" skeet reese with micro guides, 6-12lb . 430ss penn with 8lb test you can cast it for days and throw any jig you want.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
