    I think that rainfall total just dropped seeing as to how the storm has alot of dry air feeding into it.

    In the past hour we've just had the first 'feeder band' move through Midtown Mobile with more than 1/2".

    Bankhead Tunnel into Mobile closed at noon today (as a precaution to possible flooding tonight).
    The water level seems to have peaked for now (@ 2'-3' above 'normal high tide).
    It may even receed some this afternoon, but the next incoming astronomical tide should begin around dark tonite which would likely bring the worst of the flooding.
