It was intermittant, construction wise, but traffic backed up for so many miles you didn't get through one zone before you hit the traffic from the next. Start. Stop. 55 for a mile or three, then 5 again. Every entrance ramp was a traffic stopper. It was a rough drive. Two hours plus added to drive time.

Stik, it was great to meet u guys too. Glad u made it home safely. We finally started taking some alternate routes, but I don't know if it helped our time. Kept moving and gave us some different cars to look at.

Stik, I see your location is East Tennessee, I just spent last week fishing the South Holston River, beautiful country there.

The traffic problem is Saturday/Sunday.
We are fortunate enought to travel down and back home during the week. I will never do a Sat/Sun arrival/departure again if I can avoid it!
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
