They fish spinning reels upside down and get pissed when you try to offer advice

Not only upside down, but with a 12ft surf rod, 1/4 spool of 80lbs braid and a wire fish finder rig tipped with small pieces of shrimp telling me how he caught a real nice remora right where I'm fishing so just be patient and I can get one to while I'm live baiting for spanish. Thats a googan.

The googan is holding his first sheepie, caught at night on a bass pro glow in the dark shrimp and red jighead. I snuck out on the pier one night late April last year and was trying to fool one of Mr. Haywire's "pets". I laid my rod down without loosening the drag to untangle my net rope when he decided to steal it from me. Two young bucks came out on the pier about an hour later and one of them waded out and retrieved my rod with the fish still on the line. I gave them the fish after getting a pic with it.

But seriously a googan to me is someone who thinks they know everything about fishing, tells everyone how much but is doing the total opposite. Doesn't take any advice or tips from people trying to help him/her. They dont want to learn and end up just frustrating themselves and everyone around them. Also anyone (in my opinion) that uses an Alabama rig or a gotcha tipped with shrimp or squid. Drives me nuts

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
