I will check, last time I heard anything is was in the engineering and design phase. I do know the permits have been applied for, not sure if they have been issued.
We should be getting close to going out to bid for construction.
BTW, the rebuild is being funded by DWH-NRDA Recreational Use/Public Access funds.Carl

Nope, the flow of DWH-NRDA funds is not constrained by fiscal year turnover.

This is being paid with Federal funds. There was a plan to start on it after the ramp was finished. I was told that by Director Bannon in the early spring. Obviously, It is not on track to proceed as planned. Be patient...blueprints can change, bids have to be redone, etc, Lots of reasons things could be delayed.
FYI...after working for the state for 25 years I can't recall any projects that got done ahead of time LOL! It would be beneficial for them to wait til December to start so that the bull red folks in boats would have full acess during prime time I think.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
