Sometimes you'll see a few of us quit fishing and sit down at one of the tables. This happens either because our backs are starting to hurt, or we noticed someone spying fishing gear. We'll let the thieves figure out which it is.
If that new cop wants something to focus on, perhaps he should target the useless thieves with sticky fingers.

This guy was a short oriental man with a khaki ball cap. Is that Lil ho? He was also asking for other people's fish that they caught.

I posted photos of Big and Lil Ho some time ago, but can't find the thread. I haven't seen them on the pier since.

I had my yeti cooler stolen out of my garage a week or so ago. Had the garage open and was mowing in the back. Hope it shows up on craigslist soon. Those SOB's are gonna have a really bad night when I go to "buy it" from them

Fits the description of the same guy who had stolen my now recovered G-Loomis Greenwater--which police forced from him and returned it back to me. It had to be completely restored afterwards with new guides, paint and wrap.
It was discovered this guy was checking out people's gear on the pier and waiting for them in the parking lot. He would then follow people home and then find out where they keep their gear and steal it from their home.
It is possible that is who popped your yeti cooler. Could have followed you home and waited for the garage to be left open.
After I recovered my rod, he was later caught with over $8000 of stolen fishing equipment. This guy knows how to steal stuff.
He still fished the pier periodically for months even after he'd been caught. Last time I saw him was last year, and he came over with MY gaff without permission to help me gaff a king I had caught hoping I would give it to him. I promptly broke the line to release the king and snatched my custon Ironman gaff out of his hand and went and stood by my cart with a grim look on my face. I'm not sure he even remembered it was me he stole the rod from. I'm sure he's hit a bunch of us.

Found it searching "Big Ho", http://www.gulfshorespierfishing.com...771/#post46151
This is his accomplice, the guy should be flogged for putting this kid up to stealing!

That guy asked me for my arm band when I was leaving one day last summer. Told him to go find a short pier and take a long walk.

Sounds like the police ought to be informed, not just of the stolen item, but of the pattern.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
