    You are correct sir,
Pier License, No-Net-Loss Bills Passed | Outdoor Alabama

To fish Four Seasons Pier one would need a Saltwater License or a Trip License.

Hmmm. I called and talked to a game warden and told them I would be fishing from the Four Seasons pier and they said all I needed was the pier license. Got to love clearly stated regulations.

I have been several times at Gulf Shores and four seasons both that if you throw something in the water you are going to catch a shark.

Just left Four seasons not many weeks a go and it was so bad you could not fish the end of the pier so I was casting close to shore and I caught a shark at least 8'. I ended up at the end of the pier and was wondering of I could stop it before I lost 400 yards of braid. A girl and her Father came out after seeing me from their condo. I gave my rod to the girl her and her Father fought it for 45 min. Now the waves were 5'. so that helped in the shark s favor. They got a picture ot two and a good memory.
Is there are a way to fish here without staying on the premises?

We stayed there last year and will be back this September. The best thing about the four seasons pier is that you only have to take your stuff down once. We left all of our rods and tackle on the pier for the whole week, as did most everybody else staying there. We had absolutely no trouble with any gear getting messed with or stolen. Looking forward to getting back this fall!!

We wouldn't hesitate to leave our gear if we weren't on the big pier every morning at daylight
