My wife says I'm "ADDICTED"! I know I get agitated when it goes a day without a report. I use every function of the forum to try to learn from the masters. I hope one day soon I will be able to come back down and put some names with some faces. If nothing else maybe I could sit down and eat one of those amazing recipes I have seen from Mr. Relleno.

Dang Bill, you really have to watch your background when you shoot deer, don't you?

Kind of ironic how crowded some cities are with deer. I used to go to a driving range in Baltimore where there would be as many as 50 deer munching away at the weeds just out of range of a good drive. The critters were starving like the ones at Oak Mountain. Lots of car accidents.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

This little fella was looking for something to munch on.
My neighbor hoards feral cats -- just thinking out loud.

This quote from Pier#er in the very first response to the question says it all.....
”Here though, we don't usually have to weed through politics, namecalling, etc.”
I am an unapologetic lurker,...and echo the sentiments of several others who have posted,...I look forward to ending my day, every day mind you, with looking at the reports and posts here. And Mr. Haywire?,...yes,...what exactly is facebook? Haha.
Truth be told, I do have an account, but don’t look for my “profile”, there isn’t any.
No pictures, no timeline, no nothing. I joined only to look at one single group created for a childhood friend who died too young. Other than that I have no use for the facebook mentality, which is “miles wide, half inch deep”.
I love this forum, and forums in general. You get more depth, and better expressions of what’s on folks minds. Maybe it’s the format that encourages and draws to it better writers but for my time I’d rather read a hundred of Haywire’s hilarious, thoughtful, and inventive nuggets than a thousand facebook snarky quips....that for some reason I don’t ever seem to get anyway, so no loss there eh?
So,..yes, the forum is the one for me. But what do I know right? I’m the guy who when the last physical printed newspaper is delivered,...it’ll be into my box. Luddite?,...proudly so.
Thanks for the reports guys.
Working on a plan to be a part time resident in the next few years.
We’ll see.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
