Looking nice, I had read that they were targeting June 30th to open, do you know if that is still the case? We are headed down in 2 weeks, June 25th - July 2nd, and will be doing lots of surf fishing, and was hoping to try out the new pier and hit the Fort Morgan point....will also be seeing what the action is like at the nub on the half pier!!!

From what I read it looks like August will be the opening

We launched out of there this week and every day progress was made on the railings. You could see the railing line get longer each day. They’ve got most of the posts and top rails mounted, but if it’s coded like I’m assuming, there’s some sort of stuff designed to fill in between to keep kids from falling in. Dunno what that’ll be, but it was nice to hear the sound of hammer drills every morning.
