    Check out my avatar pic. 34 pound king hit in the middle of a driving, though brief, rainstorm that had the rail empty. Took a live sardine right off the SE corner of the octi. I can close me eyes and still see that feed. One of many caught in the rain, only now I carry a rainsuit.

    Agreed. Whether it be fishing or at work (construction) I've found that it's just not a rain day, but days impacted by rain.

    I especially love hard rains that raise the water level in a lake or pond making the bank come alive with eager , hungry fish in search of new domain. You can really capitalize in these types of situations!
