42012 shows winds 30-40 knots,
wave heights have increased to over 12 feet!
(gusting over 50 knots at Fort Morgan!)

Just read the pier was closed due to damage. Anyone know what kind of damage it sustained? I really hate to hear this....

No verification yet, but with waves currently exceeding 14 feet (@ 42012) some of the wooden "blow-out" panels are likely out of place.
Hopefully, that's all it is and they will be operational again soon!

There's a croaker catfish and black drum slaying going down at west pass for those brave enough. I stopped by to look around and there are about 15 fisherfolks down there. Drum to about 7# with a few white trout mixed in.

BTW, made it home, eastbound causeway is still. Closed. Give the hat the water was up to the edge of pavement on the westbound, imagine west bound will close by time high tide arrives at 10pm.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
