So is now a good time for Pompano? (guess I should check "what's biting when") I bought a ghost shrimp sucker and cant wait to try my luck with this great eating fish. Do yall like sand fleas or ghost shrimp better? Or should I let the fish answer that question? The photo is inspiring; congratulations.

I've had good luck in the past using a looney jig tipped with orange or pink fishbites or a piece of fresh dead shrimp. Cast out as far as you can while wading or standing on the beach in front of some likely looking water, reel in just slow enough that you drag or bump the bottom all the way back. If you don't have any luck withing 15 minutes, start walking, and casting...

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
