    If my feet are wet, that's what I am throwing. Look for draws and troughs where the surf drains back out. That's where the hungry fish hang....

    Yo-zuri crystal minnow 3-1/2" or 4-3/8"(sinking or floating). Any color but I try to mimic natural bait colors. Other than that jigs-looneys, pomp, spro bucktails(trim the hair to the bend of the hook).

    mirrolure is another go to lure.

    With the silver spoon, do you experiment with the speed of the retrieve?

    Absolutely. Due to compressed fishing time and other beach activities with kids it's more likely to be bad days on the ole fishing calendar. If I'm catching on something else I'm not changing. Probably evil forces working against me.
