I have a "significant" attention deficit, so I am almost never paying attention to my bait. I use a stinger hook to increase my hookup rate. I have no doubt that it decreases the number of bites I get, but most of my bites are hookups.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

I would like to thank all of you that has commited on my post and will put this information to work to help me . Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
