This should be punishment for all PETA folks caught lurking around our site!

I don't think it's PETA people. Nothing more than a troll and a couple of his friends or one guy routing through a proxy server. My son was doing that when he was in Jr High. Of course he's a computer science major at Ole Miss now, so I guess that's not a surprise. I don't think banning IP addressees is very useful from what I understand as they can be changed easily. Putting a cookie on his computer and banning its identity is more effective so I've been led to believe.
i don't think it's a coincidence that it has been happening one after the other recently.Screw it. Let's ride.

Adam, that would actually be an email. As you know, operating a forum can be quite costly, and we have managed to keep our forum free to the members.
We always help people with problems at no charge and will continue to do so.
That said, if you would like to make a donation, I would prefer a big fat J&M Gift Card! Thank You for your support.

Personally, I think a nominal fee of $5 a year would be altogether appropriate. Anyone unwilling to come up wth that has no appreciation for the value of the info shared on a daily basis. I think it would also deter most trolls. jm2cw
ETA some perspective: about a pack of smokes, can and a half of snuff, couple of beers, #1 at McDs, couple weeks of loose change that gets thrown in the jar vs tips, tactics and techniqes from some of the most knowledgable anglers for many, many miles as well as -many times- real time reports of fishing action on a forum that is pretty much - usually - hassle free.Screw it. Let's ride.

Yep, the info, humor and knowledge I receive on this forum is well worth a fee if it came to that.

Dang, bfreeland. Whenever somebody gives me that kind of praise it makes me feel real uncomfortable---I never think they've said enough.
Shoot, a trip to the circus costs a lot more than that and this is way more fun than any three-ring extravaganza. As chief clown, I think I'm well qualified to judge how good it is.

bf, you keep feeding him like that and we'll have to add him to the payroll ;-)
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
