This interview appears in the current issue of the Surfcaster’s Journal Magazine. We know there is a lot of interest about the reappearance of these reels so we decided to put in on our blog too.

All parts are interchangeable between old and new models, this was one of the biggest questions we considered with the re-launch of these reels. We are running low on parts, and there are a ton of older reels out there that need gears, and handles, and drag knobs. By manufacturing them exactly as they were, we’re able to get a lot of older reels back on the water.(RETIRED) mostly.
