The Trip Home
The trip home was a fairly uneventful 1100 miles.
A little heavy rain here and there, but no traffic jams or other delays.
We over nighted in Abingdon, VA and hit the road again.
I talked the family into detouring through NC and GA via I-40E / The Gorge, and it was as beautiful as I remembered it. Went through Atlanta and it wasn't too bad being a Sunday.
Home

Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
