    Looks like with the footings Ellis posted latest video of there is going to plenty of shade on the Octi. It looks like the deck is going to be about halfway to the red line from where the covered picnic tables were at.

    Surf fishing early AM should be good in August. Mackerel, bluefish, and ladyfish are all a blast on light tackle and spoons and you could run into a number of other things like jacks and trout. Whiting will be around on bottom rigs with shrimpbites, but there will be lots of baitstealers in the hot August water.

    I have better luck on days when the water is clear. As others have said, it'll be hot.
