    it is the roller but you have to catch fish on them to get the wear in the bearing to produce the sound. thats what david meant by use and abuse

    +1 thats what i have. i have a manual kit, drilled out spool and its painted.

    just picked up a greenie 706 with a little boat rash(paint loose)....maybe be able to use it one day :boohoo:

    127.50 ....debating on painting it or not now.....should leave it like it is (for the old school look)....and custom paint the other beater z, I got last year....and it really isn't a beater, just not like the new one I have in the box
    there was a nice one on the pff...but he PM'ed me a price of 300.00........I passed,......don't really use the ones I have...... yet

    If you decide to powder coat the old black one I will be happy to give you one of the metal side plates I got off of Chef last week.
