me and my friend wanted to go on a charter fishing trip and we could only find private, and the cheapest was 6 people for 1,100 plus a tip?
is there any way just 2 people can go for cheaper. kinda like a "walk on"??

Yes, you can do an 'walk on' for half the price you originally mentioned ($200 each)
http://www.fishingorangebeach.com/Pa...n-Charters.htm
What does it cost to go on a walk on charter in Orange Beach?
We offer 4 hour and 6 hour deep sea fishing charters at a per person rate. That means the price to charter the boat is broken down to where it only costs a small amount per person. Our 4 hour charters are $65 and our 6 hour charters for $85 per person. The only thing that cost you extra is the Tip for the deckhand of about 15%. Your fish will be cleaned by the deckhand at .30 cents per whole pound of the fish. If yo catch 10 pounds of fish, that means he will filet the fish for $3.00. Please visit our competitive party boat rates page for more information.
If you have one person, it only costs you that published amount plus tip and fish cleaning. If you have two people in your group and want a 6 hour trip, that means it will cost you $170 for the two of you. Now we hope you understand that party boat fishing is an opportunity to go fishing without taking a private charter. These rates are per person or walk on shared expense rates to help keep the cost down so you can go fishing.
(RETIRED) mostly.

Re: 200$ fishing trip!
I have gone out with outcast charters a few times. They are not a party boat, but they are a walk on boat. They are, or atleast use to be, really cheap, for great fishing. I use to pay $70 for a six hour trip.

Educate me a little bit if you will. What are good turbidity numbers? If you can check those stats and determine what the water looks like before you go, that would be VERY helpful!
