Sunday March 22, 2015 was a great day for the pier to bust out of the winter 'funk'. The previous week water temps had shot up into the upper 60s to just above 70 and the fish responded with a resounding bite this day!

Wow, after the crappy winter weather, it has been wonderful to get back out to the pier and rub elbows with my pier family! Today was a good day. Alex, my son, caught the first king of the year. My husband, Steve, caught the first two kings of the last two years. Funny thing was they both saw the king come up and look at Steve's bait, then it left and went straight to Alex's! Not sure how much longer Alex will get to live here. just kidding. Josh caught a nice one. Then Daniel. Then Kyle caught a monster, and it was his birthday today! Several others hooked up, they were swimming all around the pier. Just heaven. I have no idea what the wind was, not a clue about the current, but I CAN tell you the clarity was SO pretty.
