Thread: Y'all be careful

About harnesses. .....the ones that come with stands are pure junk,I really don't think they would work when and if needed.....as Mr. Wire did,buy a good one,
check and replace straps (perferably ratchet straps) yearly at least checking......my stands are out all year and the weather takes it's toll on the strapping. .....I pick up good strapping from machine transport that we install, and fits my ratchets......a good bowlin knot and they are ready to use for a few years

I don't trust straps. I use chain with turnbuckles. When I get my ladder stands "chained" to a tree the ladder really isn't holding any weight.
