Does anyone have any idea how much has rained around the State Park. I have a camper there in the storage and have had some trouble getting thru to check if there are any flooding.

I imagine they have alot of people calling.
I have not heard of flooding but the rain has been very localized.
One place will get 2" in an hour and 5 miles down the road they got 1/8".Carl

So what is the effect of all of this rain on the gulf? Water temps being down some I imagine is good, but how much effect does rain and run off have on clarity, salinity, and other factors?

Not much at the pier or offshore but surface salinity in Mobile Bay and Perdido Bay probably has dropped.
We got another 2.5" overnight Friday before it finally stopped.Carl

Not a lot (so far)...
But 150-200 miles west of Mobile Bay the flooding is "unprecedented"!

Yeah, and with the constant west current we've had this summer, it'll probbly come to see us.
Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
