I think you could put your grill away now. I also think one of us should invite Haywire up so he can catch a Walleye, he will change his attitude about them, maybe? Do the salmon, coho, brown trout or steelhead come into the streams in the Fall or the Spring somewhere around your place? I know they come into the Brule, how far are you away from there? I have successfully fished the Marinette area until our reels would freeze up in the Fall. I have never fished the Brule. Good Luck this Winter with the snow. Do you think Haywire could catch a salmon or a big brown??????
I remember that Halloween storm vividly, it sucked! I think Haywire is missing the boat if he never tasted walleye...probably the best tasting fish in fresh or salt water! I live about 40 minutes from the Brule "The River of Presidents"...never fished it though. Yep we catch Salmon, Coho, Browns and Steelheads pretty much right out my back door.

According to our TV weather folkses it is!
It may actually freeze (north of I-10) tonight and tomorrow night.
The 'Polar Vortex' is upon us and Armageddon has set its sights on eliminating all of mankind.
Let's just hope a 'Sharknado' doesn't drop out of the sky lol

Sounds like we need to set up a "Foreign Exchange Student" program. Could do some fishing, deer and turkey hunts too!

Lived one block off Lake Erie just west of Cleveland. Nothing between the lake and me but a 2 lane road and an open school yard. The snow would honestly drift up to the gutters. Have to go out the back door and tunnel through. Thank God for a transfer to Nashville!!!

Crazy, Two questions; Did the tunnels ever cave in when someone was going though, and when the snow melted in the Spring, did you end up in Lake Erie? Rain is a good thing, it makes corn and corn makes whisky, snow doesn't do squat!!!
