Thanks, Pat. I just now dug deep enough to find how the amendments faired.

Next two years are make or break for Republicans.
Either they prove they can govern or crash & burn in the midterms and then its another Democrat in the Whitehouse in 2020.
I want to see immigration reform, tax reform, affordable universal health care and a balanced budget.Carl

"This is UGE!"
Amendment 2 was approved by more than 79% of alabama voters!
Voters support Alabama Amendment 2 protecting state park revenue | AL.com
With 57 of 67 counties reporting, more than 79 percent of votes cast were in favor of Amendment 2, according to unofficial results posted on the Secretary of State's web site, with more than 1 million ballots for and 275,000 against. It was the widest margin of any of the 14 amendments on the ballot.
Alabama State Parks System Director Greg Lein said the vote validated the widespread concerns over the state parks' budget woes. The system saw $15 million transferred to the state's general fund over the past five years. Five state parks closed last year and others had to defer planned maintenance projects.
"It's crystal clear that Alabamians feel very strongly about their natural resources and about their state parks," Lein said.

This is our big chance as individuals and as a nation. This is our chance to become:
- better as individuals
- better as a nation
- better parents, brothers and sisters
- if you have the Faith, better Christians
- better fishermen and catchers
I certainly hope Trump was sincere in his speech last night. Let's not miss this opportunity to improve. If anything comes to mind to improve on, add it to the list.

I'd like to commend the fine people who frequent this site and took the high road during the difficult and often contentious political season by keeping partisan politics out of the discussions. This is a special place.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
