Dang it! I think I missed the cheerleaders. They have probably heard to stay off the roads by now. I still have hopes for the Victoria's Secret models because they may not be smart enough to stay home---nobody has ever noticed whether they're intelligent or not. As far as I know, they may be an entirely separate life form.
There ain't no use for it to be this cold. My feet got cold this morning when I went out to bring in more wood and they still haven't warmed up. Here kitty, kitty, kitty.

I work with several guys from Detroit that always laugh about us southerners when we get snow and ice. They say we don't know how to drive in the snow so everything shuts down. Well, if we had road equipment like the states that commonly get this kind of weather, maybe travel wouldn't be so difficult. I don't care where you are from, you can't SAFELY drive on ice. Work shut down for today, and I bet they didn't show up this morning! I wish they would just go back to Detroit if they like this kind of weather! By the way, I saw several semis jackknifed on I-65 and I-85 in Montgomery yesterday and guess where most of them were from.......you got it, states that commonly get snow.

Does anyone know if Husker made it out of the area before the storm shut down central Alabama? I live about 20 miles from Clanton and could offer help. No hotels available in the area.

You know it's bad when the Flora-Bama is closed!
I think we will stay in again today and feast on Red beans and rice with spicy Conecuh hickory smoked sausage!
I have been getting some use out of my Wisconsin clothes, but it is still too cold for my old butt out there!

I'll score him 8.8 until I see his reverse spin and double axel.

Well, after several hours making phone calls, I was able to track down a certain manufacturer’s service center in California. Thankfully, they agreed to send out my needed parts. These were left over...
You would think I would know this!
